The AFROSAI WGEA Secretariat will host its 2^nd planning meeting on the coordinated Audit of the River Niger from the 25^th to 29^th April, 2022 in Abuja.

The meeting will involve Audit teams from Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of the 9 (nine) riparian countries that are bound by the River Niger namely: Niger, Nigeria, Cameroun, Benin, Cote D’Ivoire, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Tchad and Mali. The main objective of the Audit is to verify whether the Member States and relevant actors comply with the standards and best practices for the management of the Niger River.

25^TH April , 2022: Opening of the planning meeting

29^TH April, 2022: Closing

30^TH April, 2022: Departure of Participants
